Wonders Pty Ltd recommends, sells and installs only Toshiba Multi Type split systems. These are available as both "cooling only" and "reverse cycle".
All models are the latest technology "Inverter" type units and use the new R410A refrigerant gas
Multi-split air conditioning consists of a single outdoor unit and up to 14 indoor units each with its own control for heating and cooling. Each indoor unit will work at its fixed rate and the external unit will vary its output according to the number of indoor units that are switched on. Hence a single area can be heated or cooled as desired. Running costs can be varied by this type of zoning. This type of system is extremely versatile in its application because many combinations exist to tailor make heating and cooling to your individual need.
This is achieved by combining options such as:
- Single high wall units
- Cassettes within the ceiling
- Floor consoles
- Bulkhead units
- Small ducted systems
Multi Split Systems start in range of $3500 for the smallest 6.0kW unit with 2 indoor units to $8000 for the largest single 9.0kW with 4 indoor units including installation using high wall indoor units. Cassettes, floor consoles, bulkhead type and small ducted units are all extra.
